Rich Quintana has worked as an engineering and manufacturing professional since 1982 in the metals, machine tool, tool and die and building materials industries. He has diverse experiences ranging from machine, tool/die and automation design engineering to plant management and leading business wide automation initiatives.
Rich has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Cleveland State University, an MS in Systems Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and an MBA from The Georgia Institute of Technology.
During his career Rich was responsible for the design, implementation, management and improvement of manufacturing systems. Initiating lean journey, developing a culture of continuous improvement and deploying the basic principles of 5S and lean were the focus of his career.
Rich worked as an engineer, supervisor, department manager and plant manager at five different operations over his career while also providing leadership for corporate wide engineering and automation initiatives. Rich is excited to share his knowledge and experiences with others to help them improve their operations and make a positive impact on their careers.
